What the frick does Mack and Stoops have to do with anything? You guys pussed out and left that conference and won't even play them anymore.

Stop bring up Big12 crap here or go back.

Gus. Gus is the reason Auburn won the 2010 NC. It wasn't just Cam and Fairly. Without Gus as OC Auburn doesn't win NC with Cam and Fairly. If Sumlin is at A&M next year and without Johnny we will see how he does

In reference to recruiting, those two with LSU in close behind are the two most relevant programs to Texas A&M. That is true regardless of conference affiliation. It was true for the 16 years Oklahoma was in our conference and the 100 years they weren't. It's true now.

Exactly. I can only imagine AU's record that year with Scot Loeffler as OC.

The fact that Gus or Sumlin is even a thread is hilarious. Sumlin is not in the same league as Gus.

Sumlin is a 2-bit hack job with the blessings of two college football legend QBs.

Auburn is fine recruiting wise, but Texas is a much bigger pie to split. While Auburn has traditionally exceeded its inherent advantages, I think TAMU is just coming around to taking advantage of theirs. Credit to Sumlin for that.

TAMU has the money, location and size to really make their mark. They exceed AU in all those areas. In theory, they should be the more prominent program.

This is what I'm trying to say.

And Freeze is blessed with some stash of Cotton money some Black Bear booster is funneling to recruits. What's your point? Ole Miss is still 0-6 all time against Texas A&M.

Easily gus. Sumlin inherited the offense and should have no credit. But he is 100% in fault for the defense. He didn't inherit those. The defense is all his fault

Why is cotton capitalized? Is this some unknown booster that supplies all the cash? And A&M has 50,000 students compared to Ole Miss' 17,000 or so and somehow we are paying athletes with our massive alumni base? Cool.

Also, your record against us means nothing when it comes to the topic of this thread. And that is that Gus >>>...>>>...>>> Gene Chizik with a fro.

It doesn't take that many people to cheat. When we were a small all male military academy we had Bear Bryant running the show. The Bear payed everyone he could. You don't need a big alumni base to pay a football team.

Back to the topic at hand. Your coach isn't that good. For your own sake, I would be prepared for a 5-7 season without the Meth Head. Otherwise the meltdown is going to be much more severe. I'm looking out for your well-being.

I appreciate that. A&M has had lean times and I'm prepared. What I'm not prepared for is being a poor enough program to actually lose to Ole Miss. That's an embarrassing low I will not take well.

Considering your best player ever had to beat us in the waning seconds of the game coming off a 2-10 and 7-6 season in consecutive years, then I would be prepared to be extremely embarrassed.

You're not getting it. We played terrible games against y'all and still won. Losing to a program as lowly as Ole Miss is not something that happens to Texas A&M.

As far as recruiting goes, A&M will always have to deal with Texas and OU even if we are beating them. They are still 2 very rich programs with a ton of historical success that have done so by recruiting in Texas against us. If A&M is able to continue to beat those 2 schools out for talent in the next few years it assures a Top 10 if not Top 5 recruiting class every time. Most of A&M's Class has an offer from Texas or OU or both. Lose those recruiting battles and we are lucky to be mediocre.
