This isnt a flame or anything. But, Chavis had some crazy talent to work with at LSU.

I give him loads of credit, but even without him, LSU reloads on D every year, 2013 excluded. Seems like when we explode on offense the defense sucks and vice versa.

I see a renewed 2011 defense on the horizon and its crazy how similar it is. Questionable QB situation with a great RB roster and killer defense. Steele can demolish of opposition with our defense.

If A&M has a ground game at all, then they stand a chance. If all they have is an aerial assault, LSU takes the W by at least two TD's.

It was a lot more that just droping 8. It's disguising coverages and making adjustments. it is getting players in position to make plays. But we will see how it plays out. I would like to see what this D looks like with Chavis at the helm.

It literally was as vanilla a defensive scheme as there was in the SEC for sure.

Chavis is going to benefit A&M by implementing a sound system. He's great at implementing the fundamentals. He's not going to out-scheme people. If you guys are expecting some exotic looks and pre-snap disguising of the defense, you are going to be disappointed.

If history holds true, Chavis is going to perform well when his defensive talent matches the offenses he faces.

I bet your bf utters this often about you

Chavis will improve the Aggie D, no question. He won't, however, beat LSU.

Time to move on

I have always liked Baton Rouge. I could have had a lot of fun at LSU. Maybe that is why I hate you frickers so much. We are kindred spirits.

And frickLSU®!

What happens first. Losing to Mississppi state twice in another 19 year span or losing to A&M
