Sounds like they had some good talent, I mean that LSU team had Mett, Jeremy Hill and OBJ and they just got shut the frick down. There was a difference in who was coordinating for Clemson in those bowl games though

Which one of them have up 70 points in a bowl game before taking the LSU job?
566 yards and 41 points, 31 at Halftime was equally embarrasing for the #1 D in the SEC vs Auburn this past year. Gus Malzhan set a personal record for himself with 247 first quarter yards.............he could have easily hit 70+, but whatever....

Yeah, all but 3-4 games a year, like I said.
Just like last year when aTm was scoring 35 per game and giving up 28. Or 2013 when aTm was scoring 44 per game and giving up 32. When you give up that many points, on average, you're going to lose multiple games every year.
If aTm can be a keep opponents around 24 PPG they will be in contention. If not, they will continue to lose 3-4 every year.

I know bro I know. It is sure going to suck when we give up that third and long, even though the rest of the game our defense will play like it hasn't in a decade. It will also suck to give up a close lead late in the fourth quarter, even though the other three quarters we will see a defense better than we have seen for a decade.
How will we manage through with all these edge cases to worry about? Probably by focusing on the fact that outside the edge cases Chavis will put out the best defense Aggies have seen in their colors in over a decade.

I can't debate any of that. Its factual, relevant, and completely out of place on the 15th page of a flame thread.
I even looked it up to try and debate and sure enough each recent champion down to Auburn in 2010 kept teams to 24 PPG or better. You win, I guess.
Three losses in a year could still be a ten win season counting a bowl. I will take that, we could do worse and still be the most relevant team in our state.

My gripe isn't about his scheme. His scheme worked pretty well at lsu.
I soured on chavis big time during the 2013 season, and it just built all of last season.
He's going to have your safeties playing linebacker, and your linebackers playing defensive end.
He's going to make some absolute mind boggling personnel decisions, and his evaluation of high school linebackers sucks, plain and simple.
