But unlike Kentucky, Nebraska no longer has any momentum they use to have.

Kentucky isn't eating at the same football table as Nebraska. What has Stoops done to push the wildcats to some type of national prominence? They've never won their East division or been to Atlanta. SC and Mizzou have. It's really hard to win the SEC if those 2 things have never happened. Nebraska ain't what she used to be but she has history, and lots of it, on her side.
If recruits today want to know about Nebraska I guess they can ask their grand parents.

You can get a general consensus from the rant or from college football fans in real life and they will tell you currently that Nebraska isn't a blue blood.

And what if recruits want to know about kentuckys last conference championship, should they go to the graveyard?

True. But how hard is it to get the wheels moving with their historical narrative? Not very. We have to hear tall tales about bluebloods like USC getting the last rites and all they do is hire a Lincoln Riley and suddenly they are Playoff contenders in their first year. Nebraska isn't Kentucky. They aren't Wisconsin, or Iowa either. They need the next Bob Devaney or Tom Osborne and away they will go.

Historically, of course you're right.
Kentucky will never be close to what Nebraska was.
But, Nebraska will never be close to what Nebraska was either. I don't see them ever returning to major prominence in college football.
Today, and for the foreseeable future, Kentucky is as good or better of a job, especially given the level Stoops has built Kentucky to.

It really says something just to have him considered for the NU job. Rest assured, more $$$ coming on his next contract with UK.

It legit is extremely underrated. One of the most fan friendly sports. Easy to follow, simple rules, fast paced, plenty of scoring.
