Obviously, it looks like very few folks in the print media industry would disagree with you.

You idiots would have the same reaction if Shepard fricking Smith wrote it because its irrefutable. Starkville is a shithole and Oxford is a true NICE college town.

I don't have any qualms with State fans or their athletic programs, but I will say there are very few towns in America that make Waco, TX attractive. Starkville is one of those, with Ames, Iowa right there with you.

Every town in Texas that's not named Dallas is ugly, and i love A&M but shite it's ugly.

True, but I just tend to side with the fact that the state of Mississippi is the South's road bump.

So he's a mad, mad nobody. Gotcha. Entertaining though.

He's hilarious is what he is. And wtf makes him a "nobody"? You've never heard of him? Sorry we don't have Thomas frickin' Friedman and his three Pulitzer Prizes writing smack talk columns in a local weekend magazine.

When whatever shitrag of a newspaper you read in Starkville publishes something even HALF as witty as this, I'll hang up and listen. Until then, deal with it.

I read that entire inane article

It reeks of desperation and want of approval from his minuscule readership

I would assume that you didn't read the article. The whole issue is with this "Starkville is THE nice college town in MS" which it isn't. No argument can be made to counter the fact that it is AWFUL and Oxford is 1000x better and actually receives accolades to verify that fact.

Some of it was witty. Other parts just used larger words than normal to make his butthurt, shite article sound intelligent. He just sounds like someone on the clarion ledger comment page to me.

Come again?

Dallas sucks balls (the skyline is neat looking, that's about it). So does Houston. El Paso? Lubbock? Please...

Austin and San Antonio are great places. The rest of Texas is as bland and cookie-cutter as the rest of America.

Would you like me to write an entire article devoted to ripping Ole Miss for having a bunch of pussies who couldn't get into their state school so they come to Ole Miss and then act like it is Harvard. All while spending all of Daddy's money while doing lots of coke and shitty in school?

If so I can oblige?

The guy's a terrible writer. I used to think Chris Warner was windy and overly verbose until I read this.
