Steve Spurrier comments on Bama's & UGA's future; he pulled for UGA over Bama in '17!

The roots of his bitterness towards UGA lies in the year 1966 when he won the Heisman, yet UGA beat the tar out him and the Gators. He never got over it.
During his time as HC of Florida, he jabbed UGA and Tennessee to no end. Fast forward to the present....
Time seems to have mellowed Spurrier. I can't believe that, in the 2017 national title game vs. Alabama, he was actually PULLING for the Dawgs to win! Imagine that.
Anyhow...this is a good read (not long at all).

Greatness has never set well for Spurrier. He has taken a lot of veiled shots at the Bama program and coach Saban through his so-called dry wit.
I personally believe he never got over being stranded in Carolina and always had a bad case of buyer's remorse.

I've always got the feeling that Spurrier hates Bama more than anything. But don't think for one minute, he would not love to set Dawg fans up for a major fail. He'll fap to that too.
