Not at all. I think everybody agrees Alabama would have done better with Metchie and Williams. The contention is we say we would have done better with the players we were missing, too. We were missing some pretty good players.
BUT...the injuries happened all around so....maybe Alabama fans should stop bringing up injuries every time a conversation is started?

This thread is still going on because the spoiled brat Bama fans can’t accept that there is a better team than theirs. It’s amusing to see how bad they are hurting but all their whining is starting to get boring. Georgia won. Georgia was better coached, had better players and more depth. They are National Champs! Bama isn’t. Na na na!!!

Can’t do what you are not allowed to do. He was not allowed to play 60+ Snaps.
His parents, dr James andrews, Ron courson and physical therapist didn’t think he could play that many.

I can give you a number but it wouldn't prove anything. The only real way to verify whether Pickens played more in Dec is to rewatch the game.
I never said everyone wore a brace. A brace is a preventive device and doesn't limit the player, by design, any more than a taped ankle or something similar.

I'll make another point. I feel somewhat guilty about arguing with you. I'm sure you wanted to win the NC so bad. But, I believe that this discussion has dampened your enjoyment of it to some degree, maybe a little, maybe more than a little. I'm sure you still enjoy it, but I believe that you believe the injuries helped Georgia win it and it bothers you.

Actually I think the injuries Georgia had helped Alabama keep the game within 15.
