Brown RB is a load. Strong & quick.
Tyson WR is one of the best, if not the best WR in the country. His body control is unbelievable.
Leavitt has some wheels & throws really well on the run. Got to keep him in the pocket. Most of his damage was outside the pocket & he is outstanding there. When NAU got pressure inside the pocket, Leavitt struggled a good bit.
ASU OL pushed NAU around in the run game averaging nearly 10 ypc, but gave up a bit of ground in the pass game. Also struggled at times with the blitz. They got away with multiple holding, specifically on Leavitt's long TD run & his other TD run by the TE. Their WRs struggled to block w/o holding. OL has some issues.
They didn't seem to play too vanilla. Had a fake punt that led to a TD, & blitzed/stunted. They disguised their blitz, will come from all over & will delay, with success. The pass D struggled in zone coverage some. The NAU qb is pretty good though.
DL is pretty stout, even having an int.
3 of them are considered draft prospects.
LBs weren't as active as State's but their DBs are above average with one headed to the NFL.
If we can contain the run, keep Leavitt in the pocket & our OL shows up, we'd have a chance to win. I think Fluff matches up better than Booth & could possibly give them fits. I don't think they can contain Robinson either.
Oh, and do not kick it to their PR. Don't do it.
Another oh. They had 10+ penalties & missed several tackles. They played sporadic.
