pump the brakes dude.

OM fans who are objective realize that the real season is about to start but are enthused about us having 1100 yards of offense in 2 games. Truth be told, we've left about 4-5 tds out on the field in the first couple weeks.

Thus far we have done what we should have done, started 2-0. But I dont think anyone thought our O would improve this quickly. After the last 2 years, can you really blame us for being pumped about the improvement we've seen? Regardless of who it was against? Hell you had us losing UCA and UTEP im sure.

As for yall, kudos on the win yesterday. You locked up a 5-0 start and set up quite a clash week 6 vs UT.

Ole miss can't score on will against central ark (who freeze had more yards against with his arky state team mind you) but you are going to do it against a team with the current best turnover margin in the sec, who is currently averaging 6 pts a game on d, and has the undisputed best corner in the toughest division in football. Yeah I see where you draw that conclusion.

Solid post, braj. I can admit you guys have improved, why can't rebelgator say we have a good defense? Nick Saban and Les Miles would agree after our games last year with a weaker D.

I couldn't agree with you more, but the fans like Rebman601 just make me laugh to a point of multiple abdominal cramps.

Yeah, we're number #7. Show me your mythical defense ranking from a legitimate site.

Really? Because I watched us throatfrick them for 3 quarters. It was pretty much one bad 10 minute stretch in the 2nd qtr but people are acting like the game was in doubt. It wasnt. They couldnt piss a drop in the 2nd half.

You are obviously asking us to show you a link to prove our top-15 defense in 2011, correct? But you are making claims that your offense is #7 in the nation. Well, lets compare apples to apples. How did you offense rank in 2011?

You're the only one flaming.

I just want an explanation on how State's defense is above average by SEC standards. Auburn wasn't an offensive juggernaut by any means.

UTEP and Cen Ark certainly bring to mind the '85 Bears.

Well according to that ranking only LSU and Alabama are ahead of them. Stop being such a tool.
