South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier votes in the USA Today Coaches Poll, so he’ll have some small say in who gets the top two spots in the BCS title game. The Coaches Poll comprises one-third of the BCS formula, with the Harris Poll and computer rankings the other two factors.

Spurrier declined to reveal his vote, saying he’ll wait until it’s made public next week. He did offer one insight this week.

“You know what I think is interesting? Everybody is picking on Ohio State. Their schedule was ranked tougher than FSU’s,” Spurrier told The Post and Courier. “Did you know that? Everybody’s picking on how Ohio State hasn’t played anybody. I said, ‘Well, what about FSU?’ They beat Clemson, and that’s about it.”

Yeah

The Clemson win, while impressive, isn't quite as impressive as most though it would be.

He's right but that drumming of Clemson @ Clemson was one of the most impressive wins this season. However, a mediocre Boston College gave FSU a run for their money. FSU's offense would struggle against a good defense like Bama's.

Only Spurrier can find a way to jab at his old rival FSU and current rival Clemson.

Neither FSU nor tOSU played a very tough schedule. Each has only beaten 1 team currently ranked in the Top 25. SC has beaten 3 of the Top 16. He's always going to tell it like it is.

Auburn and A&M had no problem scoring on bama. I think FSU would be fine.

Neither of those teams truly deserve it and I don't think they could beat any of the current one-loss SEC teams.

Missouri, Auburn and Alabama would all handle them.

I'm no FSU fan, but they're the best team in the country, period. They'd beat Auburn, USCe, Alabama, Missouri and stomp a mudhole in Georgia and LSU's arse so wide a showdog couldn't jump over it. Boys, they're the real deal...live with it.
