Gulf Shores is fun to hang out in. They love football and partying as much as we do. Most gumps actually have a very good football IQ. Okay now I'm going to go throw up.

We had a blast in Tuscaloosa last year. The fans were very gracious and hospitable.
A very large majority of Bama fans that I have met IRL are cool people and fun to be around.

They have one of the best uniforms in college football. I'm a fan of the old school.

This. Growing up there are certain schools I enjoyed watching because of thier uni's. Alabama, Penn St., and Nebraska come to mind. Guess I like the more plain, old school look too.

even tho they pick up the crappiest bandwagon fans in the nation, one can't blame the university for that.
even tho they are one of, if not the most arrogant and entitled fan base in the nation, one can't blame the university for that.
even tho they have been caught cheating and buying players and past players have admitted to it, one can't blame the university for that.
overall, i think the university of alabama is a good college and serves the academic needs of it's citizens very well.
i have nothing good to say about it's football program at all. nothing.

Bama has great coaching, players are groomed for the NFL, great recruiting in Bama, beautiful stadium, tons of tradition, and they play to punish other teams. I like their style of play and feel that LSU and Bama are the only two teams out there that intend to beat other teams into submission, although Bama has been more successful lately.
