And people say A&M fans are obsessed?

I’m sure if I wanted to, I could find a game in 1SU’s history where they got beat pretty bad too, maybe not by 77 points, but every program has a few embarrassing losses. But you know what? I’ve got better things to do, like live life and not have another team live rent free in my head 24/7, so I won’t.

OP, you should probably find a hobby.

And 74-72

Flashback : November 8, 2003 ... their rival Oklahoma Sooners destroyed and embarrassed the Aggies In what some call the worst defeat in college football history. There may have been more points scored on an opponent but none were featured on national television. Think about it 77-0. It was the lowest point in their history and cemented their pathetic struggle with daddies Texas and Oklahoma. Now they seek redemption in a new league, a place where they can try to forget their horrible past. From now on I am going to pity them and try to leave them alone in their misery.

Wow, so LSU would never lose to such a shitty team, right...

If that was the loss that got rid of Coach Fran, it takes ags a long time to pull the trigger. He was fired in 2007.

There wasn't one loss that got rid of Franchione. In 2007, there was finally enough dirt on him to force him out as he had a mole embedded in both the athletic department and texags (Mike McKenzie, his personal biographer, demanded personal info on posters critical of Franchione and would call and harass them at their place of business).

There was a VIP newsletter in which he was selling insider medical information on his own players. He was pretty much done after that, regardless of record, as evidenced by his resignation immediately following the victory over t.u.
