Mike always goes with the lefty/righty thing. With USM starting a righthander, he’s gonna stick with McCants over Plumlee and Harris over Baker.

More athleticism at first and left right matchup at the plate. Probably six of one and half dozen of the other but I’ll take the added defensive range. Defense needs to be tight today. It sucked yesterday.

Would you rather have the 4 automatic outs from Baker?
I’d rather have neither of them in the lineup if we’re being honest. But it seems like Baker plays better defense. And if they’re both going to strike out then give me the guy with defense

Defense and Baserunning always come into play in these winner-take-all college baseball games. With all the rain I expect there to be a crucial slip on a fly ball in the outfield. Never fails.

Mainly just want a good window to warmup and get at least four innings so that pitchers won’t be wasted by an early delay. Probably have a good three to four hour window once this current stuff moves through in 30-40 minutes.

They have until the end of Tuesday. If the game can’t be played by then the committee will vote on who advances.
