If I were USCe fans I wouldn’t want A&M as a rival either. We beat y’all more than. Clemson already does. How does it feel to have 2 daddies?

You ever notice how most a&m fans on here and on texags dont want to play texas anytime soon. Ill tell you why. A&M has made great strides since joining the sec... But If they was to play ut now and lose it would affect their recruiting. We all know this. Just look at texags for proof they dont want to play ut now. But if you go surlyhorns site you will see they are down for playing aggie now. A&M is still recovering from the abuse.

1. You’re not totally wrong. I would say the fan base is split. On one hand if we were to play and win then we get bragging rights. If we play and lose then they have bragging rights and a chink in our SEC recruiting edge armor. We have more to lose. It’s as simple as that. Plus we’d either have have to play 2 P5 ooc (zero reason to do so with our SECW schedule) or give up all the great planned and potential home-home series (Clemson, Colorado, Notre Dame, Miami, etc). Buuut on the other hand it’s a big game vs our main rival. We grew up hating them and they grew up hating us. It’s huge in Texas.

Take one look at their home schedule over the next three years and tell me why you think they want to play us (the next game would be in Austin):
2018: Tulsa, USC (I'll give you that one), TCU, Baylor, West Virginia, Iowa State
2019: Louisiana Tech, LSU (again, kudos), Kansas State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech
2020: USF, UTEP, TCU, Baylor, West Virginia, Iowa State
