No it isnt. Georgia hasnt ever supported a team with "vigor" in the existence of the new SEC, since 1992.
All of those sec sell outs beg to differ. Tubby and harrick had things loud and proud in Athens.

Or not. No sane person turns down $2 extra million because preseason warm up attendance.

2001 UGA won 22 games, the most of the Herrick era. Achieved the programs highest ranking under Herrick.
Yes, That was 2001/02, and it was only gaining momentum until a certain moment happened in 2003. Why did you choose 2000-01 instead? That was a 9 seed season.

Why the hell would anyone melt over who UGA hires as basketball coach?
Georgia should be good at basketball, but they never will be. It just isnt in the cards.
Your fan base is going to melt if they actually think UGA has a chance at a top 10 coach.

That is the attendance figures I found that matched with Herricks best overall season of 22 wins and being ranked most of the season.

Maybe be but your competing with schools that already have been investing in basketball

Great attitude.
What are the winning Powerball #'s tonight there, Miss Cleo since you seem to know the future.
I'm bookmarking this post.

Fair. But Georgia has more money in their coffers than any of those schools and can and will catch up in a hurry.

You specified 2000/01, which isn’t 2001/02 or 2002/03, and it doesn’t focus on sec basketball games. Perhaps you typed the wrong year in, and ignored the rest.

It’s a hypothetical. Look it up.

I think you’re kind of delusional. Look at the names being reported for the UGA job. And all of a sudden because Scott drew is using Baylor for a raise you think they will catch up in a hurry? lol ok

That’s absolutely fine.
Thinking we’re going to get Scott Drew is delusional. I really like Graham Coffey, but he doesn’t have real sources.

A hypothetical that has nothing to do with anything and is stupid as frick. Congrats

I get why UGA would want Drew, but why would Drew want UGA? Makes about as much sense as tits on an Aggie.

Hell, maybe for all I know. But within the SEC we're all pretty rich if you get down to it. It takes a lot just to keep up in the arms race. And if there are any potholes in the road, I think it's pretty easy for y'all to say frick roundball and focus on football.
Point is, if I'm an elite coach it's hard for me to see myself picking UGA unless I'm just a dawg deep down

I know it’s a tough concept. Better stick to easier ones next time.

It doesnt focus on SEC basketball games, but it focuses on all games which is what overall attendance is based on.
2002 is slightly better, ranking 7th in the SEC in attendance and 48th in the nation.

Keep on bringing up that national championship in football that has nothing to do with the discussion and nobody gives a shite about.

Exactly, so it’s a flawed stat. It’s those sec games that matter. Stop acting like a pointless November game vs Chattanooga matters as much.
