If true I no longer feel bad for Petrino. If the guy was offered a way out of this mess by just accepting a few penalties and flat out refused that option then he deserves to be fired.

He will get some walk away money as it is a firing. But not much as he thinks he will. Woody, Curt, and rest of that form will make sure of it.

However there is a possibilty that Petrino's legal team finds the firing unwarranted and battle Arkansas for the full amount

This frick is a douche of epic proportions. Who does he think he is. He is at the best program he has ever been te head coach at, puts the school in a horrible position and then won't accept penalties, that he brought upon himself.Arkansas fans, the decent ones on here, deserve better than this. They gave CBP everything they had and even after way came out, still supported him. frick Petrino. Arkansas deserves better. They paid the man as if he had actually won anything of substance when he hadn't. His only accomplishment is playing in a BCS game for two different schools and can be attributed to his job hopping arse.

Limited recruiting makes sense. Biggest impact is the recruiting hit, since BP sitting in some recruits home trying to convince his parents to come to the Flagship was not going to enhance the image of the program.

Arnells source is Dudley do not know nothing Dawson, same source. Petrino would have worked with them. The University of Arkansas will not take the liability of lawsuits from interested parties who applied for the job JD got.
One thing I do not like is some 45 year old washed up basketball ball water boy who thinks he still knows Arkansas athletics and wants to charge people for mis information.

Curt and Woody are smart legal minds, they're the guys that go against NCAA generally. So I doubt they're leaving anything out in termination of services contracts.
