LSU: I've only had stuff thrown at me once. Oddly, it was the one time I was sober. That's about it for the good.

Hell yeah. I love the sound of a cow bell. It reminds me of gameday in Starkville. And they sound cool on TV and on the radio, they get so loud.

baton rouge is fun. the night life is getting better as they are trying to bring newer stuff to down town and clean it up and they have done that. I was telling a friend today we need to just make a street where all the bars go and make it off limits to traffic.

I lived in Baton Rouge for a while in 2006-2007. I remember something about downtown revitalization, and some group known as the "Austin Five". Sounded like they were really getting their stuff together.

As much fun as a night out was there, the only thing I didn't like was how everything was so spread out, as far as bars are concerned.

I like how Forrest Gump played football for Bama. It's my all time favorite movie.

yea i agree with that. the bars are in clusters here. The downtown project has come along way. The best thing to do in baton rouge is drink at some ones house and then go out for a little

South Carolina- You can't help but like the way they support the Gamecocks. I will never forget when they were 0-11 and had 80,000 plus raising hell.

Bama - went there in 2001 and all the fans were nice. I like the simplicity of their uniforms. Its what makes college football special, the tradition.

Auburn - again nothing but nice fans, also the eagle is pretty cool.

Ole Miss - I absolutely love their red jersey uniforms, some of the best there is.
Gorgeous campus I like how its stuck in the middle of nowhere.

That's true. The bar scene in Oxford is so much better. That's not a terrible thing though. I like the idea of getting drunk with a group than hitting the bars than just going to the bars with a ton of people.

yea I agree. The bar problem here is spread out some and then cover charges. If we had more bars that didn't have cover it would be better. I like to be able to move around if we go out.

Both are big issues for me. I like to roam the Square. It's easy to do. We got over 10 bars in that little area. Makes it easy. I don't want to even bother with the bar scene around here.

Why aren't there bars closer to LSU/more of them? It seems like there is money to be made with a legit bar or two.

Really?????

Most of us excessively do this just to annoyingly piss off the opposing fan base...

I know that the nearby Texas Tech fan's skin would crawl everytime we did a Hotty Toddy.

Ole Miss hosting the first presidential debate of the most historical election in history was pretty cool.

It's not like we play them every year, so it's just a fun little chant to them.

they do have tiger land out there with: reggies, freds, bogies and etc. and now we have walk ons and mellow mushroom right there.

then on the other side of campus you have a few bars over by the varsity.

fwiw my favorite bar by LSU is brightside bar and grill. No cover charge and it has a patio to chill on. The patio used to be perfect for underage drinking now its just cool bc i like to chill outside
