I also think Rocky Top is cool when 100K fans are singing it (although it can certainly get on your nerves as well!).

I know it isn't part of the question, but in terms of non-SEC traditions, if you were ever able to visit Doak Campbell in FSU's hayday, the pre-game festivities along with the chopping chants by 70K fans are very very cool. The guy on the horse throwing the flaming spear at mid-field is kick-arse. It was much more intimidating, though, when they were as unstoppable as they were for so long.

Alabamas Rammer Jammer cheer.. I only wish we had such a chant (especially for Clemson). Our administration would condemn the fanbase if we had something similar. Isnt that chant actually endorsed at 'Bama?

baton rouge is fun. the night life is getting better as they are trying to bring newer stuff to down town and clean it up and they have done that. I was telling a friend today we need to just make a street where all the bars go and make it off limits to traffic.

Yes, but we can't play it before a contest anymore (i.e., "we're gonna beat the hell outta you"). We also can't play it more than once after a win. Although we played it five times after the Iron Bowl this year.
