Scores now have 3 tv breaks: after the TD, after the PAR, after the kickoff. (Maybe not but sounds good). But one thing is for sure, there isn’t a commercial break shorter than 3 minutes now.

Pretty sure A&M and Miami had 4 fricking breaks back to back.

Someone scored too close to the end of a quarter. Break for the score, break for the extra point. Break for the kickoff. Break for the quarter.

It seems like the first half of games is flying by. But the second half drags out. But the clock rules for first and second half are the same. What's the deal with that?

I don’t think as many timeouts get used in the 1st half.. as compared to the 2nd half, but I could be wrong with that thought process.

If 2 more timeouts get used in the 2nd half (on average) that will make the 2nd half about 5 hours longer.

I love the new rules it's just shite your bs gimmick coaches have been using to cheat.

CFB becoming more prostyle is only good

Totally agree with this. It does suck that they used it for more commercials. Guess it gives teams time to rest. Anyways, downvote away. Seems like real college football now and not basketball on grass. Ground and pound. I love it.

I think they need to do without ejections on targeting. Hoping they change that part of the rule.

The Auburn/atm game was still at half time when other games that started at 11 were halfway through the 3rd quarter.

The commercials are as horrid as they've always been. More of you are finally noticing. It's always been awful particularly after a TD, where it's 20 minutes before the next play.

I can't remember the last time I've sat and watched an entire game, I've got better stuff to do with my life than devote four hours to a game.

It's by far, the worst rule change in college football I have ever seen. Sad thing is, there is absolutely nothing the average everyday fan can do to reverse it. I might reach a point of no return and quit watching, then listen to the Dawgs on-line and try to catch the game or highlights of it being replayed on youtube. I get no enjoyment out of watching more commercials and less football.

Wonder if they’d consider going to a 35 second play clock like the NFL so at least we make up for the amount of lost plays.

All the big television companies forcing the broadcasters to say nice things about the new rules is hilarious too. They were talking about it during a game week two and it sounded like an ESPN Exec had a gun to the announcer’s head when he was complimenting it

I noticed that too. They all talk about how it helps with the flow of the game so it's obvious that's the phrase they've been told to say. What does that even mean? You know what would really help the flow of the game? Less commercials.
