Honestly I think A&M fans are not used to this type of attention. But I am personally learning a lot as there hasn't been too many times where:
1. A&M was in this type of position to make a legit run on the conference/national level.
2. At the same time texas is in the same conference and mostly irrelevant to the above scope.
It happened back in the 80's and early 90's but I wasn't exactly old enough to be aware/observant of these type of things back then.
I see now the obsession with 'playing spoiler' and being a general pest is not one sided. Here's texas doing and craving the exact things we Aggies did in the early 2000's.
My advice, ignore their shite, just as they should have disregarded us in the past. It's not all they have right now but it's a big part of their entertainment at this point and frankly giving them the attention is what they want.
Yeah, there's a good amount of posts from horns about 'aggy', but honestly I am more frustrated by the amount of replies and attention A&M fans give these jokers. Let them wallow in their own obscurity.
