Between 2013-2024, every selection committee in every sport has gone out of their way to force matching up the two schools, deliberately under and overseeding each school to do so while refusing to provide any metrics supporting it. This despite being completely ignorant of the fact that the matchup had no national appeal outside of Texas

I still wish we played them in the basketball tournament in 2016 and last year…

It will be much harder for them. In the NCAA Tournament, conference teams can't face each other until the Sweet 16 unless there are at least 10 teams in from that conference.

We will be seeing each other in CS in the baseball regional next weekend most likely so this will be the last time that will happen.

either way, we won’t make it out unless Pierce pulls a Pierce
I do know what I would do..
but it’s risky
1) throw a bullpen games in Game 1.
2) if you win, you play A&M and Prager.. so you throw the #1 and pray.. if you lose, you are toast..
3) if you lose Game 1, you throw another bullpen game against the #4
4) Throw the #3 against the #3
5) Have the #1 and #2 ready to go to beat the Ags without their #1
That’s our best shot..
