What a sinister plan. Wanting to play the game as scheduled. How fricking evil are these monsters?!

We had to play UT on a Monday in 2005 with Hurricane Rita in the Gulf about to smoke Lake Charles, a place where our players had families.
This excuse doesn't make any sense.

A couple of things. Obviously, having the game in Baton Rouge would have been an advantage for LSU. However, I don't think anybody is upset that you guys wouldn't come to Baton Rouge to play. I know speaking for myself, I'm upset that you guys offered no Alternatives whatsoever after saying the game would be in Gainesville on Saturday. We could have played Sunday in Gainesville Florida never even offered that as an option. LSU did. We offered to fly in, play the game, and fly out, so as not to stress the hotel industry in the area.
The other thing, thanks for admitting you guys were scared because your quarterback and defensive linemen were hurt. This confirms what we suspected all along

Then why is your AD not willing to play Florida now? Doesn't seem to matter when the date will be, he's saying no.

I think the best and most fair option to the conference and all teams effected was gainesville sunday or monday night
Honestly any other option puts the burden and the disadvantage on multiple teams and has 0 disadvantage to Florida and gives a precedent of incentive to avoid doing everything possible to cooperate in playing the game
Sunday or monday would've given florida another 1 to 2 days rest, kept the game at home, and probably gave the fans a prime time night game. This also has the added benefit of not forcing LSU to play 3 road games in conference in 12 days and lose millions in revenue to a city they was just severely flooded
When a situation like this occurs, there is no way to make it ideal. It is best to choose the option that causes the least burden on the least amount of people
If the Commissioner would have simply said, have a contingency to play this game sunday or monday, and if possible to play, play it or forfeit. I'm guessing LSU and UF would've found a way to comply

Honestly, with your injured DL, your team wouldn't have put up much of a game. Tiger Stadium or The Swamp, it doesn't matter, we still would have ragdolled that pathetic UF team. We offered your chickens Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at Gainsville. When ya'll ducked, we offer Tiger Stadium. When ya'll ducked, we offered neutral sites... ya'll ducked again.
Don't act like you wanted to play LSU with that depleted DL.

You realize by including this in your argument that you basically laid out why Florida was dodging the game right?

He just said that LSU will not frick up their whole schedule to make up for Florida being a bunch of pussies
Posted on 10/11/16 at 12:40 pm to ForeverGator
Because of the negative impact it would have on LSU. That's his priority.

After McElwain admitted he ducked the game, Alleva decided not to work with him by screwing up our contractual obligations. Georgia won't work with Florida either on the matter.

Because logistics don't make sense.
We cant afford to lose a home game. Remember, we just had historic flooding, our economy desperately needs the money.
We tried to play the game last week, you said no.
The SEC shat the bed in handling it.
Now, we are saying no, with kind of a frick you on top.

You realize I don't speak for my school, right? I am fine with the decision in retrospect because it gives our guys rest, but that doesn't make it not look like you guys aren't dodging us now that you know we will be healed when we face you...
You all need to stop being pussies and get your AD to just agree to play the game.

If the SEC is willing to move the SECCG then the 3rd could be a legit option. If UF is willing to pay LSU the money lost from losing a home game then tee it the frick up.
