Oregon would have to win out and hope that AU beats us. OU could get in by winning out but if they lose and we win out, I think Bama gets the 4 seed.

We need LSU to win out, OU to lose and we need to be dominant with Mac.

We've seen this before.

The committee will make sure it's A1abama.

If it happens, and y'all beat LSU then lose to us, they might as well ban me because I'm burning this shite to the ground.

So you really think a tua-lead Alabama would fair worse against LSU then Oregon? Sure lets go with that. People would have rather watched a rematch of those two teams then watch Oregon get destroyed.

This is how I know that you don’t watch football. Oregon has NFL talent on both sides of the ball. They won’t outscore LSU, but they would be more deserving than MAC Jones. Sorry not sorry

gonna have to be Oregon, I honestly dont think they let Utah in with the same record and conference title as Oregon. If Oregon wins out, they will get in if the other 3 win out... Cant say the same for Utah... It should be, but I still think the committee suffers from name recognition syndrome...

If Oklahoma blows out Baylor in the Big 12 title game its beteween them and oregon.. if its a close game then its def oregon

Looking at some of LSU's games final scores I think they are overconfident.

Confident but not too much. Not sure why you would say that.

How can "LSU be 1 of the top 3", but "4th team when UGA beats them"?

As a LSU fan, I would actually like to see Bama make the playoffs. If CEO can keep this thing going, there will be some epic LSU/Bama battles over the next few years. I think we’ll win some, but lose some as well. If we disqualify Bama this season for not winning the SEC, what argument will LSU have for making the playoffs if our only loss is a close one to Bama?

I saw oregon's defense let Auburn's garbags O score 28 so I'm guessing LSU would asore 70 on them. It would be a beating similar to 2011. You'll see.

Alabama. Even without Tua.

The playoff committee will find excuses to put them in there. They’ll probably cite Duke as a quality win because it was a Power 5 game away from home.

You assume 3 spots are already sewn up.

I think the more interesting scenario is what if Clemson gets upset in the ACC CG.

God please let this happen. Those shits haven't played anyone all year. I'd argue a one loss UGA deserves the spot over an undefeated Clemson because they've played no one.

I get your thought process and won't say it's a guarantee that LSU gets in if they lose the SEC champ game, but I think SOS would be so much tiger than Oregon (who lost to our only common opp) and OU, who truly hasn't looked good at times.

The win AT Bama is incredibly huge in the committee's decision

The FOURTH BEST TEAM when the final ranking is released.

ETA: It's almost as if no one has paid attention since the CFP began in 2014. The rankings at week 9 of the season are just to generate buzz/ attention.

Show me one year since 2014 that the best team in college football has not walked away with the title.
