Then why were y'all so gung-ho about boasting that preseason #1 like it did hold water?
Why wouldn't a fanbase brag about being listed as the best team in the nation going into the season? Butthurt fans act like they wouldn't have done the exact same thing had they been ranked #1 to start the season. But continue to think what you will. We're entering the part of the season where none of what happened before matters. Down to business.

Vandy and LSU National seeds

South Carolina and Mississippi State host

If this doesnt happen then the SEC is getting robbed... But after UK not hosting last season and LSU getting robbed of an invite altogether the year before that nothing the committee does surprises me anymore.

I have no issue with you guys boasting the #1 preseason record, but for a bunch of Arkansas fans to turn around and say "meh...it doesn't matter" is so funny and hypocritical.

Is it just me or does any else notice how much the LSU fans do not want MSU to host? Does this go back to them not making the tournament a few years back with a similar conference & total record as MSU has this year?

It actually goes back To exposing the best player they have on there team as having very weak mental fortitude

IMO USC has secured a regional host.....however, it would not surprise me to see us lose our regional. Even if we are fortunate enough to advance to a Super, we won't advance beyond that.

Not too far off what most pre-season projections had us going in 2013, but we have too good a roster of talent to not make it back to Omaha. The team just lacks leadership and swagger that it had heaps of the past 3 seasons. Seems like too many players are waiting, watching for someone else to be the one that steps up.....

comparing State, SC, and Clemson:

RPI:

State- 10th
SC- 11th
Clemson- 12th

SOS-

State- 5th
SC- 17th
Clemson- 8th

H2H:

State beats SC 2/3
SC beat Clemson 2/3

vs RPI Top 50:

State- 19-14
SC- 11-12
Clemson- 13-14

based on all that- there is no way State doesnt host- but it is close
