I’d argue opting out and pulling a UCF, hanging the banners and all, would have done less harm to FSU than the beat down UGA put on them.
It's all about team mentality, which is why Kirby dropped the hammer on those prima donnas.
They aren't so pretty any more though.

All bowls are meaningless now that the CFP is the only thing that matters. Doesn't mean I won't still watch all of them bc CFB is great and it wrecks peoples lives.

Only reason to watch is if you have zero to do and just sit on the couch all day. If it’s on in the background wherever I’m at I’ll watch it, but I’m not ‘planning’ to watch any of it outside of final 4 and NC game. The rest of these games are going to suck for a number of reasons.

It truly doesn't matter anymore. Until contracts are put in place that will bind players to their school for a minimum 2 years
This. Have to get to some sort of collective bargaining agreement to curb some of this crap.
Player can sign a 1 year contract but they get less money. Commit to 2-3 years and you get more.
Also maybe you only get one transfer after 2 years. Some of these guys are transferring every year.
Anyway if there was some sort of limit it’d help with roster management.
