I think it's a similar refrain, like "Goodbye to Texas A&M" or something like that.

I asked google
quote:
Several college fight songs directly reference or insult rival schools, often stemming from historic, intense rivalries.
Key examples include
Texas ("goodbye to Texas A&M"), California ("lowly Stanford red"), Duke ("Carolina goodnight"), and Georgia Tech ("To Hell With Georgia"). These lyrics are frequently used to boast superiority and enhance rivalry games. Bleacher Report Bleacher Report +4 Schools that Reference Rivals in Fight Songs: University of Texas ("Texas Fight"): Includes the line "And it's goodbye to Texas A&M," written to counter Texas A&M's "Farmers Fight" song. University of California, Berkeley ("Fight for California"): Lyrics directly mention Stanford, with the Golden Bear "growling" at the "tread of lowly Stanford red". Duke University ("Fight! Blue Devils, Fight!"): Specifically includes the lyric "Carolina goodnight," referencing their rivalry with the University of North Carolina. Georgia Tech ("Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech"): The lyrics specifically shout, "To Hell With Georgia" (University of Georgia). University of Kansas ("I'm A Jayhawk"): Traditionally referenced several Big Eight foes, including Nebraska and Missouri. Navy ("Anchors Aweigh"): Includes lines aimed at Army ("Sink Army"). Harvard & Yale: Both schools' fight songs historically reference each other during their rivalry matchup. Bleacher Report Bleacher Report +4 Some schools, like Georgia, often use popular, non-official verses to mock rivals, while others, like Michigan State ("Victory for MSU"), had early versions that referenced rivals, though these sometimes fade over time.

It’s worse because they wrote the song as a “response”
Copying “Longhorn” from Aggie is probably their most hilarious attempt to be Aggie though

School song is The Eyes of Texas, I been working on the railroad song.
Texas Fight is the fight song. aggy is most familiar with this song because it's the band favorite after Texas scores or a turnover/ big play.
Fun fact Texas Fight is the same tune as Taps sped up about 10x.

I don't envy coaches in today's system.
You almost have to make guarantees with playing time to get talented players to return, and if they don't take the next step, everyone is asking why you didn't go to the portal.
Go to the portal as Jay did. If those guys don't pan out (like they haven't), everyone is asking why you didn't keep the younger kids.

And folks incorrectly say our school song mentions Texas. It doesn’t. Our school song is The Spirit of Aggieland.
Aggie War Hymn does mention Texas, however.
