Wow, 3 in the top 15?
Better than I actually thought.

He's definitely got the stats to back up this push for the heisman..

Fail. They were ranked in the top 10, #9 actually, before the loss to michigan in their bowl.

Now, how many heisman winners helped will their team to a prestigious 19 ranking like gerhardt?

I'll answer with real facts unlike BMY, NONE.

One point on Ingram the morons need to know. He split RB duties and still captured the all time rush record at Bama.

Careful, don't try to inject facts into the thread.

Colt McCoy swept all the "best player" awards

How many times over the past decade has the same player won both the Maxwell and the Heisman? Like once?

I know Tebow won both in 2007.

There are a lot of rumors surrounding the team, and there is house cleaning going on.

I think some of our starters may not play in the Sugar. If what is said is true, they certainly don't deserve to play.

We shall see, what happens with the team, and the coaches.

Well, losing the sugar would suck. BAMA knows

Still, you have Tebow. That says alot.

Tebow and Spikes came back for a reason, and to see a lot of chit went on, has to be heart breaking. I understand now Tebow's demeanor, and tears that day.
I honestly prefer to lose, and fix the problem, than to focus on the win. We shall see what happens.
Good luck with Texas, but I will be back, I'm going to start the weekend . have a good weekend.

Its funny that all the "stat" hounds don't mention this when comparing Mart to Toby. He'd have rushed for over 2000 if he was getting all the carries. Also take into account that he didn't play but a quarter and a half against UTChat. I know there not gangbusters, but he sure could have padded his "stats" in the second half of that game.

Here are the stats of the running backs behind Ingram.

Trent Richardson -

126 attempts, 642 yards, 5.1 ypc, 6 TDs

Roy Upchurch -

46 attempts, 290 yards, 6.3 ypc, 2 TDs

Terry Grant -

40 attempts, 166 yards, 4.2 ypc, 3 TDs

Look at all of that yardage and all of those TDs that could have been Ingram's. People tend to forget that Alabama uses more than one or two running backs in their offense.

You don't want it anyway. That thing's an albatross.
