So many fans wish they had what LSU has….

In recent years no matter what the situation is now.
This only doesn’t apply to Alabama fans since they don’t know what a “let down” is. More power to them.
Average for a few years after the near perfect 2011 season. Win it all with a Top 5 team of all time in 2019, followed by two below average seasons going into a future of uncertainties. I’ll take that in a heartbeat.
OU hasn’t had a let down. Wins conference titles, most of the time gets to contend for a CFP spot, yet can’t win the damn thing, much less play for it.
I’ll take LSU’s situation with a title recently won over what OU has done in recent years.

In a way, Saban at Alabama has been good for us. Miles could have been like a Bob Stoops for us. Win lots of games, but fall to better teams and coaches in the biggest games.
Saban just got that out of the way during the season for us.

Lies, Saban at Bama has been bad for LSU. LSU would probably have several more titles if Saban would have stayed in Miami. All those players Saban got from Louisiana, goes to LSU instead.

I’m not putting down OU by any means. I give honest assessments. I don’t trash talk because of recent history. OU has had the teams to compete and not compete. The inconsistencies get annoying over time. Oh how nice it would be to have a defense that could mirror the long term success the offense has had.
