You're missing the point. LSU can expect a top 5 class most seasons. I was anticipating a better than expected class with all of the momentum the program has.

I'm thinking LSU focused much of their effort because it's hard to anticipate the kind of opportunity they have - had in the CO 2020. Seems like O wasn't in the living rooms of many of the top kids, and thus couldn't leverage those relationships to flip them.

Still, it's going to be the #5 class in the country. That definitely ain't bad.

Apparently you don't need to beat Alabama in recruiting to beat them on the field. Ask Clemson, ask LSU,ask Auburn. Hell, ask any tiger. And Alabama has always out recruited everybody. Too bad it's not gonna matter anymore.
