There's got to be a better solution other than bankruptcy. Bankruptcy will leave many Louisiana companies hurt from this. It's not cool to your vendors.

Hopefully it's just a political ploy. But Jindal has sacrificed a lot of Louisiana infrastructure on the alter of his political ambitions.

Exactly. Spending great amounts of time out of state currying favors from others for his own interests. He's using his own state as his "model". "See, I know how to cut spending and waste." All at the expense of education and healthcare. But the far right loves it and that's his target audience and support.

I suspect he thinks he'll run as the Vice Presidential candidate for 2016. He wants to show how fiscally prudent he is by screwing over his own people.

1. It's not bankruptcy
2. If you're freaking out as a President because roughly 3% of your total budget is being cut than maybe it's a you problem
