This isn't a case of not having information and casting a net to salvage the NCAA's image.

Let's look at what we know.

1- the NCAA discovered a ACT fraud while looking at ole miss. With accuracy, they tracked down 2 coaches at other places.

Let's start there...

Because it's enough. You don't go before the infraction committee as an investigator without a case or knowledge to seek the ok to offer immunity.

To get that permission, they have to prove or present why they should allow it.

2- the universities know this. If they come to ask, you bet your arse they will tell them to cooperate. If not, it could lead to question on why they turned down ole miss.

So what does academic fraud have to do with Laremy Tunsil's light bill? That is the only investigation that is still ongoing. (And other investigations that branch off that).
