He just told you the difference: it lies in enforcement. We know all of you, including ole Miss, have paid players going back to the 70’s at least. It’s just that for whatever reason some schools, such as LSU, Florida, and Alabama, are allowed to carry on the charade while others like ole Miss and SMU were not. Now that it’s legalized, suddenly all this parity exists again. Did Florida and Alabama just forget how to recruit overnight? Of course not.

Yall are kvetching because it’s an even playing field again.

This has got to be the most retarded "theory" out there right now, regarding college football.

Are you just ignoring the times those schools were sanctioned?

No offense here, but just because a highly recruited player is behind the starter who has more experience doesn't mean he is a talentless hack.

Remember. Ole Miss beat you with those players.

No doubt, but that's nothing new. If you have a good coach, he can win a lot of games at a non power.

That's always been the case.

No that’s to ensure OM can’t fire him for abandon his duties. LK is saying he is ready to coach OM (until he isn’t).

No sir. Lane has a meeting with the Ole Miss AD to talk about Lane’s future and present him with their new NIL structure moving forward, which may incentivize Lane to stay. This news broke yesterday.
