Yeah, he did awesome this past year. I mean, he topped out over 100 yds rushing in one whole game.

So it's your assertion that Charles Scott is as good as Jerome Bettis. Nice.

And you used an awesome back as a comparison. Show me where Bettis had 15 yds rushing in a game, like Scott had against Ms.St. or 20 yds in a game, like he had against Au and it might convince me a little more.

you said a running back has no business being that big... i threw out some great backs that were/are bigger than CS.. that is all. i didnt ever say he was as good as any of them.

Maybe, just maybe it wasn't entirely the O-line. Perhaps, just a little bit, it was coaching and the RB himself that contributed to poor performance.

dude just let it go

alahunter has tired of posting about Sabans Pecan tins and how Terrance Cody doesn't wear granny panties and how the University of Gump will claim their 100th straight spring national championship in football in 32 days so he wants to rip Charles Scott- who cares?

I didn't say a RB. I said CS. And he underperformed. If it's not coaching, and it's not his new ballooned up size, then what do you attribute his poor showing to?

You must. You just brought up everything that I haven't discussed or posted a topic about. Deflection is what you use when you have no argument to make.

You stated that his time wasn't bad for a RB that weighed 240. It is. It's bad that a RB even weighs this much, but to then have OLinemen show more athletic ability, that's sad. Like I said, some would, in addition to blaming his lack of discipline, blame the coaches for instilling such a poor work ethic. After all, how many times on here in this site, have Lsu fans said that a players results are the reflection of his coaching? It carries through for your team too, right? Fact is, he showed up heavier than he should be, has underperformed what he should have. That is either a reflection of being coached poorly, or you had a bad RB this year

so you said CS not running back?

I posted what you said. Go back and read. I don't know why yall are so upset. It's fact that your ex-rb underperformed. There has to be some reason for it, yet for yall, it's not him, it's not his size, it's not his ability, it wasn't coaching that got him where he is. So enlighten me. Why was his performance so piss poor?

You know I was referring to CS, you posted that he weighed that much. Are you that unable to make your argument that you have to nitpick the details instead of making your own argument?

LOL at Alahunter judging somebody's draft status solely by looking a combine results. Dude, go back and look at his FILM over the last four years. He's a prototypical NFL RB.

4.67 might not be a sexy number, but that's very solid for a 240 lber (if that's how much he weighs).

Plus, Charles Scott broke his collar bone. Sure that didnt help him get into tip top shape.

McCluster is shifty and has great football speed. His 40 time isn't surprising. I've seen him get caught from behind numerous times. He's just so exposlive from the word "Go."
