Not really. It'll be right around New Years. It's a great excuse to get a hotel room in New Orleans for a couple of days and live it up. Plus LSU fans would know way way more local places than a Hog fan who's unfamiliar with the area. The quarter might not like it as much...but they'll still do just fine regardless.
I do think if Arkansas makes the Sugar (which they will and should) they are going to bring a huge crowd. It's been awhile since the Hogs made a major bowl game. Like when they were discussing Arkansas on the SWC Rant many years ago.

if by some miracle we got in the sugar id get a hotel the night of the game just because im lazy and dont feel like drunk driving 80 miles back home

exactly also the sheer number of LSU fans going down would but a bit of a dent in the losses of having 40k arky fans around for 3 days.
