you have got to be kidding me... you think upshaw is a bust and fairley has been "succesful" in the nfl

Fairley has missed a lot of games with injuries, but he has absolutely been better when healthy. Fairley has two separate years with more sacks than Upshaw has during his entire NFL career

Upshaw is somewhere in between a hit and a bust. Expectations were definitely higher for him, but he has a fairly important role in their defensive scheme. Playing SAM really doesn't rack up the sacks, especially when you're a part timer with Elvis Dumervil coming in on rush situations.
Jarret Johnson played the same spot, didn't really get a lot of publicity for it. Was voted one of the most underrated guys in the NFL at one point. JJ was a low pick though, and he kept developing as the years went on.
Upshaw is still a bit 1 dimensional, more so than his role asks him to be...

Well Wade I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Ingram finished in the top 10 in rushing this year. Richardson came in at 40th. He's a bust
How can Ingram be in the top 10 in rushing if 13 RB's got more yards than him?

Having said that, Richardson averaged more ypg and more ypc than Alfred Blue, in addition to more touchdowns. Let's try to use facts in this thread and not opinions. As bad as Richardson is, Blue managed to be worse.
And on this, I certainly hope a 3rd overall pick would be able to outperform a 6th round draftee, even if it's only by 0.2 ypc.

Use the odb method. Find some stats that fit the argument.

You really don't need stats to see that Ridley is better than Ingram and Blue is better than Richardson.
And Odell has better hands than Julio.

Your question was about Ingram being top 10.

yes and dareus has 12 times as many sacks as rolando... it's called one is a defensive lineman and the other is a linebacker. sure upshaw may be a 3-4 olb that rushes at times, still entirely different fricking positions.

YPG. You know, the one stat that makes ODB the best receiver in the league. Nevermind dude.

In rushing? He's not.
which i'm assuming is what he was using

I didn't say ODBJ was the best receiver in the league.
I do think he had the best year tho.
