Will be refreshing to watch a college football playoff without a team that lost 24-3 to Oklahama.

SMU without a doubt is the better team and more deserving. They would beat Debure's team by 2 TDS minimum on a neutral field. Their QB would make Pavia look like childs play

Meh highly and extremely unlikely. The acc is way below the big 12 and shouldn’t even be considered a power conference. Consider me unimpressed they couldn’t make it through with no losses and choked and in a proof it a game to a team UGA make look like high schoolers

Well UGA being the 2 seed and GT going to the no one gives a frick bowl would disagree. Solid melt though. Everyone here realizes the acc for what it is. You’d have more luck on Reddit where the average football iq is equal to the number of Kamala voters there

It will be a travesty if the weakass ACC gets two teams in the playoff, neither of which beat a ranked team until last night.

UGA
Tennessee
Texas (squishy)

Have shown Beyond any measure they’re quality is above any team in the trash accc and likely the big 12 as well except maybe Texas who I find vastly overrated. Why should a conference that’s champ was made to look like weak pathetic lazy losers who don’t care at all by the SECs top team in week 1 be given any credence above teams like Alabama or South Carolina. SMU is a joke and was exposed a such last night they’d be a 6 loss team in the sec and a 3-4 loss in big 10. Miami is the best team in the acc but when you choke like bitches you get shutout

It’s simple, you either schedule the playoff before or after the conference championship games.

If it’s after, you take the wins and losses.

Then you make a total RPI type of calculator of the season in review using a formula.

At the end of the day neither Alabama nor SMU deserve it. But, as an Auburn fan, Alabama actually best ranked teams. Best I can tell SMU lost against the only 2 ranked teams, and mind you not even top 10, on their schedule.

This is a low iq take that boils down a very complex multi possible scenario issue down into muh the games count as wins and losses.

You’ll have ones like UGA Texas where both teams are in abs are just playing for a bye. You’ll have ones where teams are playing their way in like both in the big 12 title game. You’ll have some sometimes where a 1 loss team can’t afford to lose because of how atrocious their conference is and if they do they’ll rightly be shunned
