Not necessarily the best on-field results...just in general. Who has the best shot of working for NASA and who is luck to have a job at all?

I'd probably have to go with:
1st pick: Richt / Miles
2nd pick: Saban / Nutt

I think Saban is pretty intelligent. His book is pretty deep

Miles' public speaking isn't very good, but he went to frickin michigan. He's smarter than most give him credit for.

Dumbest has to be Miles. (sorry LSU fans)

Smartest, I guess Saban.

Seriously, you can tell he's smart. He just has terrible communication skills. When he is speaking publicly there is more going on under that hat than meets the eye.

I like Richt, but he's not 1 of 12 in this category. Dooley probably runs away with this one, I think he used to be a lawyer.

I just wish he would be a little more football smart...or atleast show it.

Smartest? Meaning what? Most book smart?

Or are we just talking about experience/savvy? Game management?

Book smarts it's

Dooley smartest - dudes a fricken lawyer
Toss up for dumbest. Nutt or Spurrier.

He went to Michigan on a football scholarship. You think Stephon Marbury is smart because he went to frickin Georgia Tech?

Graduating from Georgia Law School does not make you the smartest coach in the SEC. Far from it.

I think Saban is probably the answer here.

We are talking book smart, right? Like someone I would want to sit down and have a non-football intelligent conversation.

Saban- hell no. I've actually talked to him face to face one on one. The only word he knows is football. And he probably thinks its two words.

Miles is pretty witty, I like that. Mullen seems to have a good head as well.

he graduated and I'm not entirely sure he was there just for football because he didn't really play often apparently.

My dumbest SEC coach vote goes to Robbie Caldwell after hearing him speak.

.....but dammit...he's awesome.
