Why do y’all insist on the lie that this is just simply speeding? Does it help y’all cope or something? DUI, running from police, reckless driving, racing, speeding the wrong way on one way streets with passengers hanging out the vehicle. Super speeder, reckless driving involving actual recks. This isn’t going 60 in a 55 to keep up with traffic

Because you keep saying "30 incidents".

UGA has had a grand total of 6 arrests in the last two off-seasons. That includes Jalen Carter, who had already played his last UGA football game when arrested. 3 of those were dropped.

The other 24 are in fact... citations. Speeding tickets.

The reason you say 30 is you are talking about speeding tickets. That's why we keep saying that.

I can't do it because I could give two shits about anything related to Tennessee. But you, on the other hand, are awkwardly infatuated with UGA. I mean the envy oozes from your posts.

I hope you seek help.

You don’t see the difference between going 60 in a 55 and street racing while under the influence? You don’t see the difference between going with the flow of traffic on I75 and speeding the wrong way on a one way street with passengers hanging out of the vehicle? You don’t think that a coach getting a DUI is an issue?

McColough Hit a guy that broke into an apartment and refused to leave. And sat out more than 25 of the 26 UGA players and coaches have. Let that sink in.

Now you are back to the idiotic idea that depth doesn’t matter?

It’s a shame that Kirby had to let a career special teamer go after half a year of trying to sweep it under the rug. That depth really took a huge hit there.

The fact that this is your defense of why it took half a year to boot a kid that was involved in a high speed chase is absolutely incredible. Damn dude this shite has already claimed 2 lives. At what point do you feel it needs to be addressed in a proactive manner. Obviously the drivers ad nonsense isn’t having a positive impact.

And yet Tennessee kept Jaylen McCollough on their roster the entire year after being charged with felony assault. A charge he plead guilty to after the season.

What's with that? Felony assault ok, but speeding not ok?

No he didn't. The guy left the apartment and knocked on the door again. McColough answered the door and then when the guy started walking away, McCollough went after him and hit him from behind.

You do understand that McCollough plead guilty to the charges and spent a year on probation AND was ordered to pay the guy $22,000, right? You think they made McCollough pay him $22,000 because the guy refused to leave his apartment?

Dude. Go ahead and die on that hill.

SPEEDING TICKETS!!!!!!!

Oh, and McCollough sat out two games for felony assault. The reason he sat out more games is because Georiga's have happened in the off season. It's hard to sit out games when no games are being played. Yet UTk let McCollough keep playing the rest of the season.

Great job Tennessee. Great job.

The actual story

Drunk dude breaks into McColough‘a apartment (his girlfriend was present) gets pushed out and becomes belligerent and threatens violence according to all parties (including the drunk dude). McColough hits him once and busts his lip.

Cops show up and charge McColough. Because it happened outside of the apartment McColough was in the wrong, sat out multiple games, paid his fine etc.

An issue occurred, Coach took action, we don’t see almost 30 related incidents. That’s how it should work.

Heupel has shown a that he is proactive in dealing with issues. Kirby on the other hand just let’s stuff slide. And the excuse about “it happened in the offseason” is just that, an excuse. But fortunately we have a season coming up and he can demonstrate that he’s serious by sitting a couple of offenders a game or 3. He can even sit them in game 2 if y’all are afraid of Clemson.

Yes and no. The drunk guy left McCollough's apartment, then knocked on the door once more. McCollough got mad, yelled at him so he turned and started walking down the hall. McCollough charged him and hit him.

From your link:

Both McCollough and his roommate, Warren Burrell, testified McCollough backed the man out of the apartment and shut the door. The man then became more aggressive and threatened to come back inside, and McCollough punched him, they said.

So, they guy had left and the door was closed and locked. Why did McCollough open the door back up?

2. 2 Games for Aggravated Assault.

2 games for Aggravated Assault is how it should work/ Much of your account is correct, but out of order. They guy left the apartment and McCollough opened the door back up and went after the guy and hit him breaking out several teeth. But in Tennessee Aggravated Assault is good for two games, but speeding should be kicked off the team?

What you don't seem to understand is it is different people speeding. It's not the same guy speeding. You act like one guy is speeding 24 times. (I know you like to keep saying 30, but that is not true, and you know it)

quote:

Heupel has shown a that he is proactive in dealing with issues.
He gave a guy a 2 game suspension for an Aggravated Assault. He then allowed him to play the rest of the season.

In your world Aggravated Assault gets a slap on the wrist and a kid getting a speeding ticket should get kicked off the team.

Never change Tennessee. You will find yourself under another federal investigation once again.

McCollough plead guilty to a charge that could have gotten him 3-15 years in prison, but the Vols think two games should be enough!

If convicted, McCollough faces a sentence of 3 to 15 years and has been out of custody on a $2,500 bond.

"3 to 15 years? Nah. 2 weeks should teach him!"

Law: McCollough deserves 3-15 years for Felony Assault!
Smokeyone: Nah! Two weeks is proactivie and plenty!

Law: We'll give them a speeding ticket for speeding!
Smokeyone: Kick them off the team!

You just can't make this up. Tennessee Vol reality.

Here is the actual story:

The man was looking for a friend's apartment when he knocked on the door to McCollough's apartment.

He said opened the unlocked door and started to walk in and was confronted by McCollough.

McCollough backed the man out of the apartment and shut the door.

The man then became more aggressive and threatened to come back inside

McCollough then came back outside and punched him.

The assault left the man bloody, swollen mouth and multiple broken and missing teeth.

On one of your hands, you claim our O Isn’t good because of our D depth (a clown take), which means you think depth is super important.

On your other hand, the guy has been in the 2 deep, started a game for uga in 2023, and was in line to possibly start every game in 2024, and suddenly you think depth is not important.

Make up your mind. You can’t have that both ways.

The question was how many deaths will it take for UGA to take these issues seriously. I responded more than 2. Now based on the fact UGAs reckless behavior has already killed 2 and it hasn’t been addressed/taken seriously, I feel that the answer more than 2 would be correct.

It’s pretty cut and dry isn’t it?

And it must be getting close to football season UGA is clearing its docket. Looks like a couple more UGA cases of reckless (and with wrecks ironically) and other cases are being cleared up

UGA's behavior has had nothing to do with the deaths. And they have obviously taken it seriously by the dismissal, and docking NIL pay.

So as I said, wrong and always, and still obsessed with UGA, when will you address your obsession with UGA? You always avoid the question.

Jail records show Hughley was arrested by UGA police and charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. Mondon was arrested by Athens-Clarke County police and was charged with reckless driving and racing.

2 for street racing

Wide receiver Rara Thomas was arrested on one felony charge of second-degree cruelty to children and two misdemeanor charges of battery early Friday morning

Kicked. Kirby had no choice

May 18: Wide receiver Sacovie White, wrong way on a one way reckless driving,
Dropped

March 24: Running back Trevor Etienne, DUI, failure to maintain lane, improper driving

No punishment
Sept. 1, 2023: UGA staff member Jarvis Jones, speeding and reckless driving

No punishment
May 2023: Wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, reckless driving and speeding

No punishment
May 2023: Wide receiver De'Nylon Marquez Morrissette, driving too fast, following too close, DUI
No punishment
March 2023: Defensive lineman Jalen Carter, speeding racing

No punishment
February 2023: Linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson, racing on highway/streets and reckless driving

No punishment

9 without looking real hard. DUI racing reckless driving etc. ironically the guy charged with speeding m,Carter was racing and involved in the deaths of a staffer and player. He actually left them to die and lied about it.

I can do the rest if you like.

Why isn’t the Athens PD being investigated? Seems once many of these charges actually get into court they are found to be unwarranted and often thrown out or downgraded. Could there be a lot of overcharging just because it involves football players driving very expensive muscle cars? Most of us would probably get a warning or a ticket for some of these things. Not an arrest
Not too many years ago a player was reportedly arrested for making a right hand turn from the left hand lane. My nephew - not an athlete and driving a not so new car - once did the same thing. He got a ticket and a stern talking to. Not cuffed, arrested and featured as front page news in the AJC.

Racing while drunk caused the wreck. And running away instead of trying to help was just a shite move.
