Since when does being southern equate to football success?

In football, you run or pass the ball down the field to hopefully score a touchdown, which is 6 points. from there, you have the choice of kicking an extra point for 1 pt, or going for two via an offensive play. the defense is set up to try and stop the offense from doing this.
what on god's green earth does it matter if a coach was born in the north, south, east, west, germany, france, egypt? how in the fawk does that hold any relevancy whatsoever?

What if you swap out a nasally Boston accent for a slack lip drawl on your first pep speech? How does this help the program moving forward? Can people laugh at it? Will it cause LSU fans to have a crisis? These are some other questions.

Using your analogy it would not matter if the coach spoke in sign language as long as he wins games. The problem would be when said coach all of a sudden started speaking at 60 years old.

I have no idea how well Kelly will do in the SEC, but that fake shite will turn off a lot of people.
