With no credibility, who is going to stand up for them when the NCAA finally comes knocking? Emmert isn't going to be able to protect them much longer.

Who is going to stand up for their footbaw program?

And this is why people say LSU fans are obsessed with Bama.

From yesterday:

LSU officials have acknowledged that the school is involved in an “ongoing inquiry” into potential NCAA violations that came to light last week regarding former Tigers offensive lineman Vadal Alexander.

According to a report published Thursday by the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report, Alexander’s father, James Alexander, received $180,000 from disgraced LSU booster John Paul Funes. Funes pleaded guilty Thursday to embezzling $550,000 from the Our Lady of the Lake Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports the Baton Rouge hospital of the same name.

LSU Senior Associate Athletic Director Robert Munson released the following statement to the Business Report and Yahoo Sports:

“LSU was made aware of specific allegations by OLOL officials in late 2018 and made that information immediately available to the NCAA. As this is an ongoing inquiry, LSU will have no further comment.”

Do you honestly believe that LSU was lining up payments for players using this Funes guy? I'm waiting for the part of the story to come out that Alexander sent part of the $180,000 back to Funes.

I will not be surprised if it is found that LSU had no knowledge of this happening.

LSU doesn’t have to have knowledge if a rogue booster takes it upon himself to pay players. See “lack of institutional control.”

I’m simply pointing out instead of worrying about the ncaa hypothetically investigating Alabama, maybe be more concerned with the NCAA actually investigating LSU.

Deflection is cowardly, cheaters.

Ah do boosters usually pay players 5 years after they are finished playing at the university and then ask for part of the money back?

If they support LSU? Yes because LSU is king of “cheating for retards” (see Will Wade).
