Wait, there are "nice" pom poms?
Oh goodness yes. The free ones are inferior in terms of the shaker handle. The expensive ones have a longer stick to grip, providing extra shaker torque during intense moments.

I don't think there's anything wrong with a pom pom/shaker. I prefer something a little heavier and louder.

notice it's always the same picture of the lsu fans. it was one game and one section. nothing compares to the 90 thousand bama waves.

ALl i can say if that any man is not secure to call it a "pom-pom", but instead uses the slightly less homosexual term "shaker", then they must be hiding something.
in their arse.

LSU's don't have sticks like everyone elses. I guess they are less ghey. And LSU fans never bring them - they get used if they are part of a promo (ie, laying on your seat when you get there).
Lets face it, pom poms are an integral part of Alabama and Auburns gameday tradition.

Isn't that from a basketball game about 4 or 5 years ago. Again, I have nothing against isloated pompom usage. Ish happens.

I don't see a problem with that. "Pom-poms" have been a part of Alabama and Auburn's gameday tradition for decades... Just because some folks on a message board up and decide that shakers are gay doesn't mean a damn thing.

Alabama fan who forgot his pompom at home: The whole game is ruined for him because he couldn't shake his pompom when bama did anything.
