Quite a step up from his humble coaching beginnings.

For those that don't know, he's probably going to start for Bama in place of Leigh Tiffin next year.
For those who don't know, the guy's a fricking beast.

.I am tired of Toretta/Crouch types that won't ever make it in the NFL.....Gerhart falls more into that line of Heisman types.
Sounds like you've never watched him play.

how many rushing TDs do other Stanford RBs have though?
I think TR has like 5 or 6 and upchurch has a couple. Not that that makes ingram BETTER, but it is a good reason why he doesn't have quite as many TDs
That's the biggest difference: Ingram gets to rest while his backups play extensively. Gerhart doesn't.

Game was over before Javy's pick. Florida didn't have enough time to come back from 3 TD's down. NFW.
Nope, not the way our O can suck 7-8 minutes off the clock every drive if Coach Mac is feelin' it.

I haven't seen a single highlight of this guy having to break tackles or make any moves on anyone.
I've watched them both play in person, and both are absolutely deserving.

re: Who can outcoach Mack Brown better?

I might be able to outcoach Mack Brown.

so you admit you are an inferior team?
Silliness. I'm sure Bama fans would like Hightower back for Atlanta, but injuries and stupidity are part of the game.

Look at it this way. WE (self included) use "gay" as some kind of slur.
It only makes sense that an actual gay guy would feel less then welcome here, and might post something a little smart-assed.
I thought it was kind of funny, and it reminds me that there are all types of football fans in the SEC.
Thanks man. You get it.

And please don't tell us which players you know are actually gay. I'd hate to see what kind of reaction that would get in Mississippi. Or Arkansas or any of the rest of the SEC.
No worries, I would never out someone like that. It just sometimes amuses me when (in general, not pointing fingers here) football fans make comments that might be interpreted as homophobic, oblivious to the fact that they are taking slaps at some of the players they cheer for every week.

Wait, there are "nice" pom poms?
Oh goodness yes. The free ones are inferior in terms of the shaker handle. The expensive ones have a longer stick to grip, providing extra shaker torque during intense moments.

Question: Where do these pom poms come from? Are they handed out or brought from home?
They're handed out. But the really nice shakers are bought outside the stadium for $0.99
