Dude, you forgot Nascar. There is other things besides football in Birmingham and Alabama. I also wouldn't recommend taking callers on Fbomb's show as "news" or "facts" about Birmingham. If you've never been here, please STFU. I won't even comment thoroughly on the inbred trailer trash comment. But, why don't you wait till you visit a campus before you start spouting off stereotypes. I don't assume all Aggie fans are gay.
I've visited plenty of campuses, never Auburn though, I plan to go with some of my Auburn friends in the fall if my work schedule allows it.
While I will never be disrespectful to someone's face, and have nothing but cordial attitude to anyone I have never met before... I will still talk down to you folks on an internet message board. This is the realm of stereotypes and idiocy. I'm sorry if you are butthurt about the term trailer trash. Although, I'm not.

I think the most interesting thing will be to see how durable these Big 12 teams are.
The SEC is a more phyical league. I thought of that when we were hurting K-State's players left and right.
Getting through the SEC schedule requires depth, and I just don't see Mizzou having it right now.
If Mizzou has a winning SEC record next year I'll be surprised.

While you wade thru the realm of stereotypes and idiocy I am curious if you would view someone who grew up in the South Lake area of Dallas as trailer trash? Am attempt to hang such a tag on AUnite would make about as much sense based on her background.
Enjoy your travels as you experience the SEC for the first time from inside the club rather than as an outsider but do not forget that you will be in the south and are expected to treat the ladies of the south with respect unless or until they prove themselves not to be worthy of that respect.

Mizzou's lucky they're in the east.

I hope you enjoy your visit on the Plains.
If you're such a likable guy irl, why are you acting "better than me" on the Internet? Does hiding behind a keyboard make you think you're billy baddass?
Also, I'd recommend following T Rey WI's advice to you about respecting women in the South.

That's strange because we have some really lax drinking laws in Missouri. You can have liquor, beer, while bars at your tailgate. Walk around downtown and campus with open containers on game day, and even on a car as long as you're not the drive
We are good then
Now I need tickets....please. They are up to $200 on Stub Hub already.

Too bad irony isn't a sport, check your coach flipping the birdie in your sig. How that d-bag convinces anyone to come to your school is amazing.

There is an open container law, but generally on Game Day drinking laws don't apply unless you're obnoxious and stupid, or drive drunk. Driving drunk is fair game any time in Columbia. The interesting thing is that a personal amount of weed is a less serious violation than any alcohol violation. It was costing a fortune and clogging up the courts, so several years ago they reduced possession of personal amounts of marijuana to a $25 ticket with no arrest and no court appearance. If there's enough to distribute, that's a whole other thing.
You should find Game Day in Columbia a positive experience and a great time. No one will hassle you.

I will travel to Auburn for the first time with a sorority girl from that institution. She will most likely keep me in line.
And trying the South Lake comparison seems like you are missing the point of stereotypes and idiocy. Not to mention, South Lake is meh. It is like all the douchey people of Dallas, but the women are much older than actual Dallas. Calling people trailer trash seems to have struck a nerve, I guess. But since you all have Internet access I'm obviously dealing with the elite Alabamians, so I guess it makes a little more sense.

I don't see why you wouldn't be top 3 in the East next year. The East is absolutely wide-open with UGA and USC the favorites. Just do some damage while Tennessee and Florida are down, because that won't last forever.
It's borderline delusional to think you'd be top 3 in the West next year though. Fight for 4th, sure whatever. But to think you'd compete with Alabama, LSU, and Arkansas all year is silly.
This. I agree with everything said in this post.
