Championships are won and lost in the trenches. Always has... always will be. Until the Ducks get much better across their lines they will forever be a fad. Nothing more. Oh... and a team with 3,219 uniforms but 0 national championships.

Stanford lines up no telling hale many times for short yardage and Oregon knew what they were going to do and put 11 guys in the oz and still couldn't stop them. This vaunted Oregon defense had no chance just like Oregon Has no chance for a national championship.
