It was a combo of both. We stunk it up, but they played very precise, sound football. One of our starting ILBs went out and at that point we were done- Moore just sat and picked us apart throwing right at his replacement. In addition, our offense was terrible.
SC was totally different. We played with a fire we haven't had in a while, we got the ball to our good guys, our defense played very well, we had some gutsy calls (onside kick) and some great playcalling. We just gifted them 4 TDs and couldn't overcome it.

after watching the game in Athens last Saturday, i think UGA could be favored in the rest of their games, except UF... and it's just too early to tell about UF based on their games.
i believe this is Richt last college job and think he'd like to stay in Athens. McGarity would make him a good deal because no one wants to see Richt get screwed over. i could envision him even taking a position in the Athletic Department to give him an office and show that he's still a Bulldog. however, he probably going to be able to parlay what he's made w/ some good board of director gigs that will allow him to live very comfortably.... so long as he didn't invest in Donnan's Ponzi Scheme.

richt's teams have had a tendency to play to the level of competition and i could see that killing us vs OM or a Vandy. idk why i keep thinking we may do something bad at one of those places but we have had better teams struggle at both venues before

well he has all that money we have given him since 2001 and he has a $7M buy out so i doubt he will be hurting monetarily at all after Georgia
and we may be favored but it doesn't mean diddly. MSU, UT, AU, and UF are all very difficult and we will likely be out coaches in most of those games. we have more talent than the last 2 teams we just lost to and arguably more than the rest of the teams we play but sadly that doesn't translate to wins

All those football coaches at the big SEC schools are set for life and freaking loaded

oh yea and i think after richt leaves he will go from public enemy #1 to beloved former coach in a weekend. he's a great guy and deserves nothing more. i honestly don't mind throwing him $7M either (god knows we have enough money) and he can start a mission with Kathryn and they'd be happy and I'd be happy and everyone would win

I could definitely see us dropping the Ole Miss game; it's a game we have no business losing and we're beat up at key positions. That could spell disaster.

and usually OM nutts on someone they shouldn't once a year

I just realized how little we lose next year...we will lose some solid players (Boykin, Tyson, Aron White), but we will only graduate 7 players from the 2 deep. We will likely lose Charles, but I don't see anyone else jumping to the NFL early. That'd be 9 starters and every backup returning on D, and 6 starters returning on O. Even though we're losing 3 on the OL, we're returning 3 with good experience. Whoever is brought in will be setup to have a solid squad in year one.

I can easily see Jarvis or Geathers/Jenkins leaving with monster years.

Jarvis I could see, Geathers and Jenkins (especially Jenkins) I just don't see leaving. Both need to work on technique to really help their draft stock.
