So this is how the old guard feels when "New Money" shows up at the country club.

Wait are you really bragging about paying scam newton for your championship?

Lol, what? Conference championship and national championship trophies don't count before the last 2 years or something? Gotcha.

nice try, but you cant erase the last 75 years of Aggie football irrelevance just cuz a new trophy is made....

Yeah, those two are so much more legitimate than the previous ones. MNC Remember. Still the same.

So you're saying you have no legitimate titles?
Come on. Are any Division 1 FBS titles really "legitimate"?

Three things basically killed the bcs. 2004 an undefeated SEC Champ(Auburn) got left out. Then mid-majors(BSU, TCU, Utah etc..) started going undefeated. The final blow was the LSU/Bama rematch.
All can be addressed with a better formula fed to the computers.

I wouldn't mind if the bcs formula was used to determine the 4 teams.
I agree completely. Its a fricking travesty that we allow some random group of people decide who gets into the playoffs. I cant believe people werent outraged at even the suggestion of such a system.

The thing is the computers won't give a shite about conference champions or what conference you play in. They only cared about who you beat, and who beat you.
The computers can give a shite about whatever you want them to give a shite about. Its all in the formula. We can argue all day about the formula itself and thats a noble effort but for anyone(not insinuating you) to suggest that humans are a better solution to this than computers is smoking dust.
