Arrakis. STFU or I'll have to come find you.
I mean this shite. I work with soldiers every day.
I've spent my adult career around Warrant Officers, Captains, Majors, Chief Petty Officers and Master Chiefs.
It has shaped who I am. I care about what I do.

well, i love A-10's as well.

E4 is ok... but E5 is the shite.
If you're an E5.. you don't get the shite details.... and you don't have to know all the stuff to be an E6.
E6 has a lot of responsibility and has to know a lot. E5 just kinda floats along....

POTUS is an orator. That's all. He is the sum total of who he has surrounded himself with.
Delve into that and you'l fricking freak out, unles you're a complete liberal.

I was in HHC, DISCOM of the 101st. Pogue, I know... but I'm not a guy, so I had no choice.

I was actually a tanker (M1A2) with the 4th Infantry Division.
But during our invasion of Iraq in 2003, Gen. Petraeus, then commander of the 101st, requested to "borrow" some armor from the 4th ID. He ended up "borrowing" my Company of 16 tanks for 13 months.
I didn't get to serve a single day with my Division over there but made some great friends in the 101st. The year with the 101st gave me a chance to use the Screaming Eagle as my combat patch. For me it was cool because armor guys never serve in those type of divisions.

That's cool.
I ETS'd three months before the 101st deployed to Iraq for the first time. I still have a lot of of friends who are still in. They are mostly infantrymen who have been over there at least three, some even four and five times.

Big love to all of those who serve in the Armed Forces and to their families. It's a tough life, for the troops and for the ones left at home. That being said, all of you treadheads, remf's and airborne pukes can kiss my arse, Artillery rules the battlefield! 13foxtrot eyes of death!
