& by eliminating divisions, you're going to need numerous tie-breakers to determine who is better than who with little-to-no common opponents. Divisions/pods lets you compare numerous teams because of those opponents.

& my 4x4 pod format lets you play everybody in 3 years (H/A in 6...& keeps those "must play" games withOUT having to sacrifice any) while letting anybody make it to the SECCG. The same 2 teams could only make it to Game 13 every 3rd year.

Yup three permanent opponents for each team with five rotating opponents every year.

Alabama- Auburn, LSU, Tennessee
Arkansas- Missouri, South Carolina, Texas A&M
Auburn- Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State
Florida- Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee
Georgia- Auburn, Florida, Missouri
Kentucky- Florida, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt
LSU- Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas A&M

Missouri- Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina
