Honestly, I'm surprised more people from the other conferences aren't pissed off. The NCAA totally screwed the ruling up. A day, seriously? Stanford, Wisconsin, and TCU should be banging on the NCAA's door wanting answers.
Umm - I believe they are banging on that door. This shite ain't just a Southern thing - most CFB folks nationwide are more than a little pissed at the Newton saga, and the NCAA's pansy-arse attempt to "clear the air".

Should they go? I think so.
Will they go? I don't think there is a chance. I think you would see them drop like an anchor in the Coaches poll and probably the Harris too.
For one, the other coaches and media members outside the southeast will jump on the opportunity to ensure that the SEC does not win a 5th title in a row. They are getting sick of it.
Also, there would be some Cam, SEC, NCAA backlash in the human vote. I could see Auburn dropping behind Oregon, TCU, Stanford and Wisconsin on the majority of ballots because of these factors.

Normally I would say yes but with the crap thats going on with schools like TCU and Boise not getting their fair shot-no chance in hell. They lose to SC, they are out of it!!

not paying players.

If AU lost, I'd love to see Wisconsin get a shot. Those guys are lights out right now. They'd beat the frick out of Oregon.

Whisky would run over, around, and through TCU.

Agreed. Like I said, if AU lost, I'd like to see them get into the game. If Oregon lost, I'd like them to stay just where they are. I would not want to play them at all.

id hate to see what wisconsin would to to our under sized line.
chavis calling prevent d vs a running team and their line being monsters would make for a long day

Yeah those big Scandinavian boys make for some mean arse linemen.

Yes they should. A 1 loss SEC is still more deserving than TCU. Don't care if they didn't win the conference title game. Thats why wildcard/nondivision winning teams can win the Super Bowl/World Series.

No.
I would vote for Wisconsin for #2 and watch them destroy Oregon in the National Championship Game.
TCU as #2. NO WAY! You cant play high school teams all year and expect to get in the NCG.

I think if AU looses to SC, and that's a good possibility, they will not be in the big game.
