With all the talk of "rented" players and transfers, Southeastern either starts, or significantly rotates, three 5th year seniors on the O-line who were signed out of high school, not to mention three more HS signees who are underclassmen who play significant snaps. They also start a 5th year senior and a redshirt junior at WR (high school signs) and both tight ends are redshirt juniors, signed out of high school. Two of the top three RBs are high school kids (Harrell & Roberson), and of the two transfers (one FBS, one JC), both are sophomores in eligibility.

There are more JC starters on defense, plus an FBS transfer starting, but there are quite a few high school signees starting or playing significant snaps. CB Harlan Miller, from Kentwood, will be a potential first round draft pick in two years; Tyler Stoddard is a three year starter at FS. Kaleb Muse from Ponchatoula is a three year starter at LB, but is now out for the year with a shoulder injury. Drew Misita from Oak Forest Academy in Amite, doesn't technically start but leads the team in tackles and is getting NFL looks already as a junior. DE Javari Nichols from Kentwood plays significant snaps as a true freshman, and true freshman Taylor Cochran from St. Charles is seeing playing time as well.
